Refund policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
UNICEANS Agro Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (“UNICEANS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates this website primarily for business-to-business sourcing, wholesale and export enquiries.
Submitting a Request for Quotation, product enquiry, contact form or other enquiry through this website does not by itself constitute an order, sale or binding contract.
Order confirmation
A commercial order is formed only when the relevant commercial terms are accepted in writing by the parties. These may include a quotation, pro forma invoice, purchase order, sales confirmation, agreement or other written document confirming product specification, grade, quantity, packaging, destination, price, payment terms, delivery basis, inspection requirements and documentation.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Where procurement, production, processing, packing, private labelling, transport booking, testing, documentation or other order-specific commitments have not yet begun, UNICEANS will review the cancellation request in good faith.
Once costs or commitments have been incurred, cancellation may be declined or may be subject to recovery of reasonable costs already incurred.
Any cancellation conditions stated in the accepted quotation, order confirmation, pro forma invoice or contract will take precedence.
Returns and claims
Agricultural commodities, fresh produce, bulk goods and custom-packed products can be perishable, specification-sensitive or destination-specific. Returns are therefore not automatic.
Any shortage, transit-damage, quality or specification claim should be reported within the inspection or claim period agreed for the applicable shipment or transaction.
Buyers may be required to provide reasonable supporting evidence, including photographs, delivery records, survey reports, inspection certificates, laboratory reports or other mutually agreed documentation.
Remedies
Where a valid claim is established, the appropriate commercial remedy may include replacement, credit, refund, price adjustment or another mutually agreed resolution, depending on the circumstances and governing order terms.
Claims that may be excluded
Subject to applicable law and the agreed contract, a claim may be declined where deterioration, damage or loss results from improper storage or handling after delivery, buyer-supplied specifications or instructions, change of mind, normal market-price movement, delays attributable to the buyer or events occurring after risk has transferred under the agreed delivery terms.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
