Shipping policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

UNICEANS supplies agricultural products through business-to-business, wholesale and export arrangements.

Shipping and delivery are therefore planned according to the requirements of each confirmed order rather than through a standard retail delivery schedule.

Shipping arrangements

Before order confirmation, the parties may agree matters including:

product and quantity; packaging and labelling; dispatch location; destination country, port or city; transport mode; delivery basis or Incoterm; freight responsibility; insurance responsibility; inspection requirements; documentation; and expected shipment schedule.

Lead times

Any production, sourcing, packing or shipping timeline communicated before final commercial confirmation is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Lead times can be affected by product availability, agricultural seasonality, quality approval, packaging, testing, documentation, transport availability, customs procedures, port conditions, weather and other circumstances outside reasonable control.

Freight and delivery costs

Freight, insurance, handling, port charges, customs charges, duties, taxes and other destination costs depend on the agreed commercial terms.

The applicable responsibilities will be stated in the quotation, pro forma invoice, order confirmation or contract.

Risk and delivery

Transfer of risk and responsibility for transportation will be determined by the agreed delivery terms or Incoterm for the specific transaction.

Inspection on delivery

Buyers should inspect shipments in accordance with the inspection and claims conditions agreed for the order.

Any apparent shortage or damage should be documented promptly and communicated in writing.

Destination requirements

Buyers should communicate destination-country import, packaging, labelling, phytosanitary, testing or other regulatory requirements before order confirmation.

Shipment tracking and documents

Where applicable, shipment information and agreed commercial or shipping documents will be supplied through the normal transaction communication process.
